Chris and Jordyn Helo opened Helos Northwest HairStudio in Arlington as the kind of studio they wanted to exist in Snohomish County — one that genuinely serves men and women, offers real specialty services, and does the work with enough care that clients want to come back.

Chris's background is in barbering, and he trained separately in scalp micropigmentation — a combination that is rarer than it sounds. SMP done by someone who understands hairlines from a barber's perspective reads differently than SMP done by someone who does not cut hair. The proportions, the hairline placement, the way it ages — that knowledge changes the outcome.

Jordyn's focus is color and styling. She approaches color as something that should look right for months and hold up between appointments — not something that peaks the day you leave and fades fast. She works with each client's natural tone, texture, and lifestyle to build something wearable.

Together they cover the full range of what people actually need from a hair studio. You do not have to go to a barbershop for a cut and a salon for color. You do not have to travel to Seattle for SMP. Helos Northwest is in Arlington because Arlington needed this.
